A Reminder for Bush

S. W. Anderson of Oh!Pinion suggests a counseling session or two on appropriate behavior might be a remedy for Bush's poor foreign policy performance:
Maybe the pressure is finally getting to President Bush, given how he’s making an embarrassing spectacle of himself at the G8 summit in St. Petersburg, Russia.

We hope some adult in his entourage, maybe the first lady, will take Bush aside and tell him how tacky talking and stuffing more food in his already-full mouth looks. That’s especially so when the leader of the free world sees fit to throw in a gratuitous expletive.

(snip)

It might help if whoever takes the president aside would replay for him a video of candidate Bush repeatedly promising the country in 2000 to “restore honor and dignity to the office.”

Honor and dignity. In 2000, Bush also said something to the effect that there was no difference between Al Gore and himself except character.

Bush has said many things in the last six years that have been contradicted by reality.
