Sunday Rumblings in Washington

I'm glad wireless is becoming more available. I'm writing this in a motel three miles from a family birthday celebration tomorrow for a great-aunt who's about to turn 105 years old. I got back too late tonight to do a decent post but here's three sites that caught my attention after a quick survey:

Empty Wheel of The Next Hurrah has a curious post on Rep. Hoekstra's claim that the Bush Admnistration is withholding more information on spying program.

Over at Talking Points Memo, guest blogger TPM Reader DK makes short work of the latest spin on Bush's failed foreign policy that the president is emphasizing 'patience.'

Tonight, The Left Coaster has two articles that interest me. The first one, by Steve Soto, talks about the fact that Bush is losing control of his foreign policy agenda. And the second one by Mary talks about the disappointing case of Lindsey Graham. Also, there's an analysis by Eriposte (sometimes eRiposte) about the recent arrests and investigation's of Italy's SISMI that I haven't had a chance to read yet (maybe more on that later in the week).

Feel free to mention anything else in the comments section. Lots of things are happening. Have some courage and keep a level head.
