Nine Helicopter Crashes in Last Six Months

There's obviously growing concern about the possibility that a number of our helicopters are being shot down in Iraq, particularly in recent weeks. The Houston Chronicle provides an AP story that lists nine helicopter crashes in Iraq, by date, model type and probable cause since early August. Seven of the crashes have been in the last two months.
