Oil Drum Plug for Oil Age Poster

Stuart Staniford of The Oil Drum links to an excellent wall poster that quickly summarizes with great graphics many of the oil problems that the world is facing. Even if the poster paints a more grim picture than what the reality is, the smaller graph at the bottom ("The Growing Gap") that shows oil discoveries over the last century is sobering.

If you click on the poster, it takes you to a place that allows you to enlarge it. As a substitute, I wish there was a pdf file that broke down the information over several pages though. Even if the future that the poster projects is uncertain, the poster is a great summary of where we are now.
