Newt Gingrich's New Adviser on Iran?

North can claim some knowledge of Iran since during the Reagan Administration, he went on a bizarre diplomatic mission to Tehran that, if I remember right, was connected to the hostages in Lebanon and the Iran/Contra affair. The Iranians taped the meeting and I really wish somebody would dig up the transcript. Colbert could do some nice work with it. I'm sure if Newt Gingrich ever became president, we would all feel so much safer with Ollie North.
Let's hope America wakes up this November and puts an end to the right wing revolution.
